Here we are in 2012 and not only that...St Valentines Day. Will spend the day with Maria out on the Caribbean Tour. Can't think of a better way to spend any day.
January was a typically rough ocean month but we were able to take advantage of several days and we did as many tours in Jan. 2012 aboard the Neptuno-Uno as we averaged in a four to six month period in previuos years so we are assuming that something is working and we are thankful to all who came along last month as well as this month because we have now Doubled our tour numbers from last month! Thanks again to all of you (from all over the world) who spent your day with us out on the Caribbean.
The sea has calmed and the weather has been absolutely beautiful in the last week or so. Fishing is still so so. We have landed some smaller snappers and bar jacks this last week but to date still do not have big one under our belt as of yesterday for Feb 2012. Dec. 28th 2011 and all is well...except...the NEPTUNO-UNO is parked in the river at the end of town and has been there for a couple of weeks. This means we have missed being out in the deep blue for a while! looks like it might be a while longer too. The ocean as usual is at about 6 to 10 feet rollers so we will have to stay on land for now! Thanks to all of you who understand when we cancel tours for safety and concern for our clients having a great time instaed of a bad time! We will cancel a tour at any time the Captain decides the ocean is not at its best or at anytime that it just does not seem like a good idea to take you on a tour. Again, thanks for your understanding.
